same boat matey, last night found some nasty rust patches under the wide arches. My friend is a welder so doesn't charge me anything only supply him the gas/metal so he is going to weld all mine up for me. Amazing how much rust can hide behind the kit!

i had 3 holes in the floor each about 2 inch round, all the rear seatbelt mounts had gone 1 had a rubbish repair, the ends of both sills had gone, the n/s rear inner arch had a 4 x 2 inch sized hole and the d/s rear inner arch was only half there and all around the petrol filler up inside was gone... the guys that welded it couldnt beleive that 6 months ago it got through a mot. i only found this becouse the d/s rear arch came off in my hands after a week of owning it and i stuck my hand up inside and pulled out the very rotten metal... the guy i bought it off paid for half the welding and as was a dealer he got a decent price to do it. all solid now altho i was driving to work ystrdy and the spare wheel bracket broke in half and it was hangin by the bottom 2 fixings  Laughing

ah well, sell the fatboy stuff and have some fun!!!!!!! Wink
