|
|
I bought a Vit which I found out was carb & struggled to source an engine but managed to find a inj'engine which came with a webber carb separate. The mechanic said he doesn't know how it'll work as he doesn't know where all the pipes would go & said there's nowhere for the fuel pump to go into the cylinder head The mechanic usually works on Vauxhalls & said to ask more knowledgable lads on the forums. Need to get this sorted asap as I've bought most of the stuff to get it up & running |

is it single point injection or multipoint, if its multipoint you could swap the heads or if its singlepoint just change the inlet manifold. any chance of some pics of the engines |

The Vitara was bought as a rolling shell needing an engine & few bits & pieces. The body work was as good as I'd seen & the price was right. Think I maybe should've held out for a complete carb engine but this is what I 've got complete with Webber carb which I don't think is any use to me. Any advice greatly appreciated |

that is single point injection so you can remove the inlet manifold and bolt your carbed inlet manifold straight to it |

just buy a standard vitara inlet manifold then you will need to buy/build an adaptor |
