|
|
Suzuki grand Vitara 2.0 TD 2004 3door
My father feels his steering is too sensitive
as he is driving along his driving feels very twitchy
I think it drives fine and its a 68 years old bad driving
he dare not take a hand off the steering wheel or relax.
Tyre are standard sizes,
double checked the pressures,
any idea's ?
can the power steering be adjusted to stiffen the steering ?
Paul

have a quick look underneath to check for any play in the joints, but that would normally cause the car to feel "floaty".
i havent heard of being able to stiffen powersteering, is it progressive pas of constant? _________________ the car in front is a toyota...
the car pulling it out of the mud is a suzuki |

Ive had the same problem on my grand vitara it turned out to be the tyres had been over inflated due to an inacurate tyre gauge I used when abroad
I drove back from Portugal and it wore the middle of the tyres out, you couldnt see it was worn but I changed the tyres and it was like a new car |
