hello guys!! when im driving about 60-80 kph the check engine on my dash flashes..then my vitara kinda jolts in high speeds or when i floor down the throttle..i changed the air controler,rotor,distributor cap,plugs,hoses and valves but still d same..any suggestions?? (my vit is 1.6 jlx) |

check the earth connections, it might be that? _________________ the car in front is a toyota...

check the earth straps between the engine, gearbox and the body.
there should also be a little earth wire from the dissy to the body i think too _________________ the car in front is a toyota...
the car pulling it out of the mud is a suzuki |

check your bottom pulley for the woodrow key starting to give way and knocking the timing out. thats how mine felt when i put my foot down. get a 17mm socket on the bottom pulley and see if it jumps at any point during the two full rotations (clockwise), if it does jump, new key, if not, get it timed up, if still not, check the throttle positioning sensor connector cable hasnt come loose. |
