I think age is a factor when it comes to a temperamental horn.
I'm dreading the day when my horn only works when it feels like it  Laughing

i dropped one of them little blue pill's in the tank but it had a limited affect

LOL to all of the above answers !!!!

But check your wiring with a multi meter, pay attention to your earth continuity, waggle the wires if all is sound replace the horn, they dont last forever.

Get some Dukes of Hazzard airhorns as a replacement, you'll never have trouble with your horn again !!!

i found what was the problem it is this link in the pic i spryed it wd and it stared working but stoped when dryed out

just replace it then, its only an earth cable for the steering column

Its probably just a carppy connection, with rust etc, built up.  Just get some emery cloth and give the area a rub down, inc the terminals and you should be fine.

No emery cloth, just use some W&D 800 or similar.
