A couple of months ago my vit started to loose a little bit of water not a lot cup full a week, anyway i have now found the leak near the top of the rad second core pipe in behind the fan cowl.

Tried Radweld as it was only a pinhole type thing didn't work  Sad So I scratched out about 2cm of cooling fins either side of the core pipe and injected quick set epoxy glue (Araldite) did this  3 times until I had filled the void where I had removed the fins, it was okay yesterday and did a bit of off roading today, there's pressure in the system and shes not loosing any water.  Cool

So should I leave it or buy a new radiator local parts shop (usually very good) want £200 plus  Shocked

It's a 2000 on an X last of the line 4u2
1.6 8v
Spanish built
G16A engine

Anyone got a good second hand or a decent price for new?
