Hi guys i like all thing Jap, and most of all Jap cars, i have a IS200 and i have just come to the end of a engine swap in it, i have put a 1UZ V8 in it that came out of the Lexus LS400, but i did not stop there i also turboed it from what i know , this is the only 1UZ V8 IS200 Turbo in the world!?!? |

no thats right, but i have a 2nd engien that is a V8. no the old engein that came out of the IS200 will not fit as its to long, but the V8 will fit nice, as i have sized it up and it will drop in with a good bit of room around it |

oh, dont be puttin ideas in me head, my brother in law was sayin today he knows of a good low mileage TVR 4.9 v8 lump up for £800. |

4.9 would be better than the toyota lump, shouldnt be any complicated wiring looms to worry about and no need for ecu etc.
plus you could bolt it straight to the landrover gearbox etx as it should match straight up with the block |

Used to have an IS200 in the family, until it drowned when a wave from a Disco went over the bonnet and it sucked it all in it's engine........... |

Oh I like my jap cars. They know how to make a fast coupe don't they? I used to have a R33 Skyline GTS-T. Unfortunately was not able to get the GTR. Still the GTS-T was good fun. Sadly had to sell it as we had a baby. I do miss it |

their already is a v8 sj i am sure of it. you tube it
as for the is, have you got any pics of it with engine in? that should shift... im more of a french car nut but i have owned a very nice MR2 turbo... sooooooo much much much fun.... |

theres a few v8 sj's on youtube, but th best is the american muscle rwd one.
