just booked my vitara in for its mot (the first since ive owned it)
its been without mot for 4 months as ive done a fair bit of work to it, its in really good condition from what i can see and know of no reason for it to fail.
was just wondering though, i have taken the back seats out and replaced them with a wooden platform for my dogs to fit in the back, will this cause the mot to fail? |

I very much doubt it, I know of a few vehicles with the back seats removed and all sorts in their place. |

No mate, took the back seats out of my SJ ages ago and it's been through a few MOTs since, the tester's never even mentioned it. If the rear seats aren't there they can't fail them. _________________

vitara failed mot, big list of things wrong
ive been working on it for 6 months and missed all the little things
but failed badly on emissions
oh well, |

yeah did all the little bits myself then took it to the father in law who sorted the emissions, passed second time with not even any advisories |

Can't wait til i can drive my LJ80 to MOT station wonder how many times i will get pulled before i get there _________________
IMPERIAL A/F SOCKETS: Once used for working on older cars and motorcycles, they are now used mainly for impersonating that 13mm or 19mm socket you've been searching for for the last 15 minutes. |

Not far there are loads arounds, been recommended a place near town center of Reading 3miles from home. _________________
