hi  can anyone help i recently rebuilt my cylinder head on my 1992 1.6 vitara after puttin it all together runs fine BUT after the choke cuts out if i turn on either the lights or the heater blower the engine revs increase by nearly 1500rpm when it urn them off it returns to normal any ideas anyone its a carburettor not fuel injection and it is not a bad earth connection

its normal.

its the fast idle control cutting in to stop the engine stalling when the alternator comes under load

thanks for the help that apparently only applies to fuel injected engines  my local suzuki dealer does not know why and suggested to put a question on this website i will see if it dissappears after a whiel

tell your local dealer if he thinks it only applies to injected engines then he needs to quit his job and go get a new one at mcdonalds!!!
