Hi Ricky,

I should be there unless something serious happens to prevent it, and as far as I know little sammy is going to be there too as I think he wants to try out all his new mods.

We'll have to arrange a time to meet at the burger van or somewhere for a coffee and chat.

Its been a dry week. So it should be good. I'll be there from around 10. So arrange a time to met at the burger van is a great idea

Hi Ricky,

That Daventry 4x4 club is having a meeting this Sunday coming (April 18th), which is a pain as it's on the same day as Whaddon.
They charge £15 per 4x4 for the day (10am until 3pm). The track isn't anything like Whaddon which is like a free for all, it's a series of technical circuits and does look very good and quite challenging.

I quite fancy having a look but I don't want to miss meeting up with you and sammy, plus I'm not sure I'd even have the guts to attempt some of the obstacles they have, it may be a little beyond me and my cars capabilities  Sad
The next meet after that is the 9th May as far as I know.

They have also said that the track is available for hire when it's not in use by them, so maybe if there was enough people interested, we might be able to arrange a Suzuki meet one weekend, if it's not too expensive that is.

I would love to try daventry, but at the same time i dont want to knacker my jeep now im going on this rally. I bet at Daventry you can avoid areas that you dont want to try.

Is it me or does little sammy go quite when we arrange a meet. Maybe his playing chicken again. You let me know where your going on sunday and ill meet you there. Either Whaddon or Daventry. Both localish for me

Hi Ricky,
I understand that you don't want to damage your jeep with the rally approaching and I expect you're right about not being able to avoid ominous looking obstacles. So I think Whaddon would be a safer bet this time around.

Maybe we could take a drive upto Daventry and have a look at the club without participating when we've finished at Whaddon if it's not too late and you feel like it. Otherwise we can just arrange to to go Dav another week  Wink

I'll try and contact little sammy to find out if he's gonna be around for Whaddon this weekend.

Hi Ricky,

little sammy's coming on Sunday. He's a bit worried about his brake lines getting damaged as he's raised his jeep but not extended them yet, but says he'll defo be there anyway.

I'm expecting to get there sometime soon after 10am. I've said I'll give little sammy a call when I get there so I can find him.
How do you want us to find you? I can call you too if you want to PM me your number or else what distinguishes your car?

I think mine'll be pretty easy to spot as I doubt anyone else has such a scruffy heap painted in oxide red.

Lol..I didn't see anything in the terms & conditions about not using the site for dating  Wink

As for the toilets, if you'd ever seen the bogs over Whaddon you'd know there's no chance of anyone so much as risking a breath in there, let alone anything else  Shocked

It was nice to meet up with RickyD and little sammy + friends at Whaddon today.
The going was a bit rough as the ground was so hard, but the sun shone all day so all good  Very Happy

Liam did you find the problem with your starter motor?

A couple of pics from the day below.

RickyD's and my zooks parked up with another chap who I just can't remember at the moment  Embarassed
