99 V6 slow to start

Tried a search but cannot find the answer. My 99 V6 is slow to start when stood for anything more than a few hours. Its as if the fuel looses pressure and takes a lot of cranking to get back up. Once running its sweet as a nut and doesnt miss a beat. Ive just got this and its my first suzuki. Can anyone tell me where the fuel pump is accessed, and shopuld it prime when the key hits position 2?
