wonder if anyone has any suggestions?
i have a 1999 jlx jimny, it starts up fine and ticks over ok, when you put it in gear it kangaroos down the road and the "check engine" light comes on, you can change gear but it wont pull above 2500 revs.
Have taken it to my local suzuki dealer and they have diagnosed either the ecu or a wiring pronblem from/to the ecu. Have had map sensor replaced which fixed the problem for about a week and then the same thing happened again.
the garage are waiting for a same aged jimny to come in so they can try a donor ecu to say for sure.
real problem as it's been in there for 3 weeks now and nothing suitable has come in.
any suggestion anyone?
