I have 1997 LWB 2.0TD Vitara which has had the suspension lifted by "2. I would like to go for a body lift & fit bigger tyres, maybe 31's if possible as Irequire more clearance. Would a "2 lift be enough to accomodate them? Also I intend to get the lift kit made at work but need dimensions for the spacers & bolts. Any advice appreciated thanks

sorry bud, not every post gets spotted, but have a look at your car and see where the body is mounted.

i think theres 8 mounting bolts which need to have a 2" spacer block put in. the easiest way to do this is to make up 2" cubes to mount between the body and the chassis. youll also prob need to extend your brake hoses if it hasnt already been done.

to fit 31s you need 3 inch body lift and just fit cubes. also you will need to extend the gear levers by 3" Very Happy

i find the problem with the forum is NEW people come and ask a question that has been answerd 100s of times rather than look through old posts, then get the *beep* when people cant be *beep* to answer the same question AGAIN....  Twisted Evil

Sorry if I sounded bitchy, I understand its best to look through old posts which I have done but found nothing to give me an idea on dimensions/sizes of spacers & bolts which I intend to get made. Thanks
