|
Hi,ive got a 1.5" pipe as a snorkel and am looking for an air filter to chuck on top of it.
Obviously it will have to have a wok on top of it to stop rain getting it .
Any ideas as to where they can be found???
Cheers

downside to that is the the inlet will be pointing up, ie in the direction the rain etc is coming from.

you might want to rethink your snorkel size. 1.5 inches will reduce the air flow to the engine and will cause the mixture to be to rich. I made the same mistake on my LJ. I have used 68mm piping on my Vitara's snorkel. It cost approximately 25 pounds to make. All the parts are available from your local B&Q. I can send you some photos of my snorkel if you wish just pass on your email and I will send them. I still can not post photos here yet. |

Ahh,thats cool,i see where that is coming from but the pipe into the original air filter isnt much,if any bigger on my sammy and i changed the carb to an SU anyway.
Ive got some metal mushroom affair going on with pipe from out of a pond into the original filter box and onto the SU,works very well _________________ Ive created a monster............. |
