right bought the car as a non runner ecu fault Ive put a new ecu on and have now got a spark
on the dash there is a check engine light which flashes the car does not start but fuel is being primed to the injector but nothing at the fuel pump above the steering rack
any ideas

So have you tried removing the fuel return hose or supply hose to the injectors while someone is turning the engine over to see if enough fuel is coming out? if youv got fuel pressure though the pump and up to injectors, you could try claping the return hose, this will increase fuel pressure, might be enough to fire!? if no fuel flow, remove pump, is it electrical or mechanical? leky ones you will feel and hear working, remove tank filling cap, incase breather is blocked, remove fuel line from pump to tank and blow down it make sure its no restricted, is the air/fuel valve thingy working with the throttle?(excuse my lack of technicla names, i work on diesels no petrols!) are all plugs sparking? is it a new or used ecm? do they have to be programed first? tried easy start? no a lot mind, just a wee squirt in the air filter.? |
