The tyres on my vit are 195 R15 no profile marking  Confused  I have been told and see om fitments for my vit is 195/80 R15 are they the same size?

195r15 = 195/70/15

r=70 as thats the standard sidewall size

Now I am, confused before Iread this I rang ATS and Kwik Fit on the pretence of buying some tyres and dropped into the conversation that the ones on now are 195 R15's with no profile and the both came back with its an 80 profile. So was quite happy to order some off the net tonight until I saw this  HELP!  Shocked

unless theyve changed it in the last 10 years, that was the last time i worked in the tyre trade so i might be wrong...

Might take it to an local independent  and see what he has in stock and see what he offers me before scurrying back of to the internet for a cheaper purchase.  Wink

Just been down to the tyre shop and he offered me 80 profiles so maybe its changed  Confused Fingers crossed cause I just ordered some.
