Well I've kinda only been "into" CB since having the zook, it's brilliant, like going out for a chat with your mates but you're all in separate cars, and it's absolutely invaluable when greenlaning.
Many a time since I've been out in the car travelling in convoy and wished we all had CBs...... _________________

It´s a very interesting thing, i don´t know how it works in U.K., in Spain is very useful in motorways, people warns of danger (accidents, trafic jams, fog...) But last summer i spent my holidays around england with the cb radio switched on and i heard nobody. |

In Britain it's only really truckers and taxis that use CB, plus there are a small number of "hobby" users including 4X4s. _________________

The same in spain, trukers and a little bit of cars. The problem in Spain is that the cb radios needs a licence which costs around 90 GBP ( 107 € ). And it´s necesary one licence for each radio, i have two radios so i spent 180 GBP. |

In this link you can see which channels are use around the world http://www.thiecom.de/cbforum.htm , in spain there are 40 channels between 26.965 MHz and 27.405 MHz. The channel 19 is 27.185 MHz here, so, is my band mid band as you say? |

Surfing around the internet i've seen that in the u.k. cb band is as you say, between 27.60125 MHz and 27.99125 MHz, isn´t it? Do you use other kind of radios or the radios are the same? |

Next time you are here listen on 27.781 you will hear a lot more!
As well as using cb I'm also a "radio ham" so I can use many frequencys, my main radio for cb is a stalker xx which has been modified so it cover uk 1-40 and also fm as well, also it will cover you mid band.
Do you work am or fm over in spain? |

We use to work in am but both of them are avaiable and legal.
I've got two cb radios and i read the instructions, one of them has also the uk frecuencies, so i will try the next time with that one.
Thank you so much for the advice! |

I need a Europian CB fitted to my SJ for the landy rally. Is there anywhere close to Northamptonshire that sell and fit them. Thanks |
