Santana's have got to be classed as "European 4x4's of Japanese origin" ... haven't they? Suppose they are, but that of course doesn't include Santana Land Rovers. My it gets complicated!
me and the wife - I'll be seeing you at Abingdon then as I'll be having a Landy Rally Club display stand there. I feel a party coming on!!! |

Back in January I asked if Suzuki 4x4 Club wanted a free Club Display Stand. Any answer yet?
It is a focal point for your group after all, not to mention the possibility of attracting new members, plus the camping is directly behind the frontage of the club pitch, hence you never more than a few steps from a cold beer and the BBQ! |

With just under four weeks to go, thought I'd ask again if the club will be having a Club Display Stand at Jap 'n' Jeep Jam (JJJ) 2010. If only a couple of vehicles, a gazebo and a photo board are on the stand, at least you will have a presence there.
Costs are low for admission and camping, thus making it a little easier on the pocket as fuel prices are getting ridiculous!
New this year will be a “Twist-Off Ramp” in the arena, a new off-road area called “Winch Wood” – ‘cause nobody has driven it so far – and stuff going on in the beer tent both Friday and Saturday nights. Sat night will be the big ‘un with a BBQ, when it gets dark a “Sound Off Competition” (just how loud and bling with lights & gismos is your truck?) swiftly followed by a disco complete with smoke/lasers/the works … plus the bar of course!
That said, don’t expect a ‘show’ as such with loads of trade stands, JJJ is a good, ol’ fashioned get-together weekend where the emphasis is on inexpensive off-roading and the club scene, not big traders with mega bucks displays. JJJ is for us enthusiasts, pure and simple. |
