Well,i was just going round my mates to take a few pics of the su on his sammy so i could use them for info when i put the su on my sammy when i bumped into the mechanic next door, who is pretty good and loves carbs!!!

Within 10 mins he had the old carb off and then set to fitting the su,now we have return fuel issues.

Would i be correct in assuming that a t piece in the return pipe so i can connect the returns all  together  would sort out the flooding issues??

It ran good for a short while until it flooded and if we starve it of more fuel it runs fine for a short while!!!

I wasnt going to start it until the snow went just in case i needed it!!!

oh well, that will teach me!!!

most strangeness Confused

I definately have a return of fuel coming out of my carb.

Today,i teed into the return fuel line from the pump and
added a non return valve from the carb return into the return pipe.

Did it work???

It did not Laughing  Laughing

Seems as though the nrv is knackered as i cant blow through it in either direction Rolling Eyes

But ,with the return from the carb just hanging into a jerry can it ticks over sweetly!!!

Ive ordered another nrv as they are onyl 4 quid and ill bang it in during the week,if it doesnt work il just run extra fuel line from carb straight to tank.

Either way little sammy will be mud bound by the end of the week Twisted Evil  Twisted Evil

I must say it sounds very nice and as though its got more power.

Cant wait to get it out Cool
