What a load of carp!
It's like they don't know what to do next to annoy the driving enthusiasts. |

Yeah what a load of shyte! I love it when the green brigade jump on their high horses about the emmissions from older vehicles . Running an old car causes considerably less environmental damage than buying a new one every few years.
My zook's 15 and, despite being punished on a regular basis over the last few years she's got loads of life left in her . Hell my pug's nearly 7 and it's only just run in at 52000 miles, virtually brand new! I expect that one to give a damn site more than 3 years more service..... _________________

Dai ...
not sure why 'Alex Stylianou' has been adding random replies to very old threads, (which is why this one and a few others came back on the 'view posts since last visit' list), but anyway ...
From the petition link (above) ...

I don't expect that this ever had any serious consideration!

i second that, and ican fix old ones WIHOUT pluging it into a pc
i read a report that said a 4.0l jeep wrangler does less damage to the enviroment than a toyota prius, the reason is it uses less energy to build the jeep and the jeep will last 20+ years and the prius will last 10ish and the batteries will need replacing every 100,000 miles.... |
