it's braced with 1/8 plate, the only marking on it is JC cut out of the bracing. should have the cage fitted by the weekend, a local eng. firm are makin it up from 63mm steel. |

no worries, i'll get the 'before' taken tomorrow. i can tell you it was 1 bloke a side to lift it into place on the sliders for the test fit today. oh, and it may be an idea if i mention the parabolic helper leaf fitted on the fronts on mine.

this one's my 2nd x trail, and can't fault them. well,,,, apart from overhangs, not great ground clearance and lack of room under the arches for decent rubber, more so on the pre 2008 models. on the upside, the aventura speced do have an lsd on the rear as standard.

my own is a work in progress. you know how it goes. bought with ''all'' the mods done. then it starts. could do with some mt's. need a cage, recovery points, ect ect. there's a pic with the cage fitted in general chat, 'me and the wife'' thread. i now have an electrical issue of some sort. runs fine, but the revs are climbing to 2 1/2 thou when anythings switched on. |
