put some new oil in it and the oil started coming out of the water side of the inlet manifold, i removed the rocker cover and under the rocker's there is 2 2pence size push caps that have fallen out so started removing the rocker screws and two are well and truly stuck, i am using a manual impact driver and it has destroyd the tip think i will have to weld a nut to the screw head and undo it that way
i am using the sj inlet manifold, exhaust, flywheel, clutch and wireing. i will use the vitara starter and alternator |

get an exact size in mm and ill get you the core plugs for your head.
it has to be exact tho and a pic would be great.
also, try to tighten the screws with the impact driver slightly first, then theyll come out easier.
if you want a hand, i might be able to help next weekend? |

did you keep the 1.3 manifold and carb???
i have with mine but my carb isnt so great so ive brought a 93 1.6 carb to put on but have one problem.
the 1.3 had 1 wire from the sensor on the carb and the 1.6 has two so where would the other wire go? ive already tried swapping the sensors but they wont fit |
