i happen to have a vw derv in my garage that i took out of caddy van ..

what am thinking is putting into my sj410 but i want to keep 4 wheel drive !

is there conv plate of the shelf to buy or is there anyother way to do it

( cut and weld bell houseing )

A company called ACME from USA sell a kit for the conversion. This kit retains the original transmission in its original position and uses an adapter plate to bolt the engine to the suzuki gearbox and drives through a modified flywheel.

hi all thanks for all the info

going to do the easy way vitara 1.6 convertion but not just the now
want hir back on road 1st then get all the parts or buy scrap vitara that way have everything i need

( what else can i take from the vitara ) Question

power steering set-up (pump, bottom pulley, reservoir,and steering box)

cool other thing have to change  Laughing  

prob be better with full car

have you concidered contacting a specialist like offroad armoury and enquiring as to whether they could make you a conversion bracket
