Hi All
I'm new to all this 4x4 stuff, but now i have got myself a 1993 Suzuki Vitara JLX (hardtop), it came with a years tax and ticket and loads of history
for the bargain price of £350.....so i'm happy!!
But i have been looking at it thinkng i want to add some mods to it but where to start......got a starting budget of around £400 for stage 1 of the modding so
where do i start???

id stick a set of mud tyres on it then go n play in it a bit first off.
then start the mods, once youv found the shortfalls of your truck
plus ye get to go play sooner _________________ if its got t*ts or tyres, its gonna be trouble!! |

Gotta agree, get some good tyres and go playing! These things are amazingly good straight out of the box. Once you've had a go you'll soon know what mods you want to make. _________________

Tyres seem to be the order of the day, what are you all running around on?
The land i have to drive on is great in the summer, but in the winter its all
thick mud!!
Shame i can't post photos, i have taken pic's of what is on it now and advice
would have been a good idea??
But i'm thinking chunky as poss but road legal.....just!!!

I've got 215R15 Greenway Machos, the pic shows them next to the standard 195R15 ATs that I had before.
They fitted without any mods but they just rubbed under the front arches under extreme articulation (no problem with that but I've since done a 2" body lift so it doesn't happen anymore) and they just catch the leaf spring on full lock but that's no problem either, just makes a noise. _________________
