Hi guys, I am the new owner of a suzuki vitara 1.6 3door and i am quite a big lad!!! the seat belts are very tight fitting with the seats adjuted forward for me to reach the pedals. Is there anything(apart from dieting!!!) i can do to increase their length legally and safely? It is a 1.6 ,1999,3door model. thanx Fizzybeer. |

You could try and find a longer inertia reel belt, from a scrapyard look at the one on your vit and find something that matches off another car but measure it before you buy. _________________ There not canoes more of a snorkel and aero aid rolled into one |

Thanks very much for all the sugestions, does anyone know of a model of car with longer belts that would fit?? I had thought of high heels or platforms, but my wife said no way!!! a harness might be an idea though. The belts are even tight for a smaller person if the seats are quite far forward!!! |
