Hi all, another newbie here. I have a vit fitted with suspension lift & 3" body lift, & currently run 31x10.50x15
I want to change to 33x13.50x15. But i hear fitting 33s will *beep* up the gearing, if this is so, is there any way of changing the gearing without changing complete axle. Any info on this would be very helpful. cheers mark. Very Happy

Hiya mate, on SJs you can lower the gear ratio by fitting a custom transfer box (called a rocklobster) made using bits of 410 and 413 t-boxes. Not sure if anything similar is available for vitaras, or indeed if it's possible to use one of them in a vitara..... Embarassed

Actually that was no use at all was it? Rolling Eyes Hope someone slightly less useless will be along soon..... Laughing
