cv joint the rubber thingy! i think its called a gaitor is split and grease is coming out whats the easiest way to replace this do i have to drop suspension out again do i have to completly remove drive shaft anything else? i must have split it doing my spacers Rolling Eyes

i saw a tool in a summer promo mag that claimed to do the job without removing the driveshaft. Shocked

other than that gizmo i think its a hub off affair.  Mad

still feelin confident?

i say go for it yourself, if you have free time like. if ye get stuck, il help in any way i can

cheers bud i am gonna give it a bash i saw on ebay a universal gaitor for a vitara what do you think or should i go down to suzuki and get a genuine part

fair chance it will, but it is a chance eh?

local motor factors will get ye ye right one(usually Laughing ), likely for less than a tenner.

i only go to a dealer for a dealer only part, last resort like.

ive got a suzuki dealership local so will go there first for price and compare to motor factors i guess they are quite vulnerable when off roading? so ...might as well learn how to do it myself Wink

did my cv boot today it was a hub off affair and whilst i was *beeb* about i put some camber adjustment bolts in to!!  Very Happy
