started on my wheelarch idea.
its kinda crude i suppose but i had access to some steel barrels.
so i thought id make sum arches with them. ive only tacked them with a couple of screws so far.
gonna weld them in properly once im totally happy with them.
offside front:
nearside front:
think they look quite good myself. really sturdy too. |

Looking good mate
Are you gonna be offroading this beast? If so try to arches projecting so that they cover the tread of the tyre but the bulge of the sidewall sticks out . I've lost count of the number of times I've dragged my wheelarches along a bank, mincing them in the process, the lads with the wheels sticking out a bit further hardly get any damage... _________________

WEEEEEELL....... while ive bin skint, waiting for payday, which has halted production in the body/braking departments.
ive bin getting busy in my garage with sandpaper and a roller.
i cut up, bent and rewelded the wraparound type bullbar that came on the jeep.
and gave it a wee coat of paint.
its a bit rough but itll do
next i started out wi this
and ive ended up wi this
lookin not too shabby i dont think. |
