I put some fatboy tyres on my Vit but find that the front tyres rub on the plastic inner wheel arches at the bottom back on full lock.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks

Hmmm can the plastic be trimmed without too many problems? If not I reckon ignore it Wink  Laughing

Surely if I ignore it, it could damage the wheels?  Hubby is going to have a look and see if it can be trimmed back.

a friend of mine bought a fatboy, in comparison to my jlx he had nowhere near as much steering lock. I think the fatboys have the steering stops adjusted to stop the tyres catching

if its anything like mine it should only do it in reverse. it dont damage your tire as its only skimming it altho the bolt head in my fatboy rear arches when the suspension is on full tilt scrubs the arches and creates some chipping effect on the tire. but never mind il get over it...see just did lol

you can adjust the limits of the lock at the steering box. there's a build on the arm coming off the box and one on the body.

mine was hitting the sashay at the back side of the wheels and that how i solved it
