I have a .22 air-rifle and a pair of shotguns ... both 12 guage, one S/S the other O/U
Not had the chance to do any shooting over the last couple of years, which is a real shame
I would love to get back into it!

yeah its a good hobby. ive done it since i was about 5. my dad and his mate used to use my dads samurai with the roof off for foxing. one would stand in the back to shoot and the other would drive. we've got a fair selection of guns. 3 shotguns ( one 20 guage O/U, 12 guage O/U and my 12 guage semi auto), 4 rifles and 2 more rifles on the way. no air rifles though. all full bore apart from a .22 rimfire for rabbits. |

you would have to be very rich to afford a .50 cal and ammo for it in this country and there arnt many ranges that would let you use them either. the L96 is a good gun, i know a guy who has the police version in .308 which he bought in the states. another rifle you have to be very rich to afford lol. |

i had 11 at one stage, just got the semi auto shotty now though. 12bore. i had 5 shotguns 3 12bores a 410 and a 20 bore. had 4 air rifles, a s410 a s400 fn19 FAC'd modded ratty with nightvision, lazer, king ratty breech etc etc etc , and a tx200hc. owned around 20-25 rifles etc over the past 10 or so years. oh i had a cz452 22lr and a hmr as well plus a cz .223. loved the hummer but needed the cash for prams cot etc, kids eh. the 223 was deadly accurate too. home loads was getting groups of 5 within an inch at 200 yards, the hummer did half inch at 100 yards easily on still days.
i used to be out 4-5 times a week as i had a gun cabinet at work and the farm was half a mile away.
only been once since they cut the fields and took my bro with me. *beep* himself when he had a shot at a branch, teaching him you see. didnt have another shot after that lol |

I've got an old AYA side by side 12 bore that's seen me through the last couple of years...don't get much chance to use it at the moment, but always up for a shoot if anyone's around either Cornwall or Dorset/Hampshire, just give me a shout |

Been shooting on and off since I was about 14, got couple of 12g shotguns but tend to prefer my fully moderated 410, not to forget my Airarms s410 air rifle in 22.
Even started ferreting again will be my first time out with my hob and two young jills soon, prob the main reason why I have a 4x4 is my shooting and ferreting.
But ferreting and/or shooting permission can be hard to obtain, this is prob due to the few idiots that spoil it for the rest of us.

very true dan, gave up one of my permissions as the young lads off the local estate used to go up. bit dangerous when your shooting with a .223. all of my permissions are now doing well, i have all the p/numbers of those who shoot.
where abouts are you dan? |
