hi all new to the vitara so might have a few questions till im a bit more clued up
ive got a 1996 estate and need a rear axle , its quiet worn , my question is are there lods of different ratios or are they all the same and will a swb fit as there seems to loads of these breaking |

does nobody know about the rear axles on these vitaras
i carnt believe that
all i need to know is are the ratios the same on the short and long wheel bases and is the 16v and 8v the same |

So that says the 8v is 5.125:1 and the 16v is 4.875:1. Doesn't mention any difference between LWB & SWB so gotta assume they're the same.
PS: I'd like to tell you the source for validation purposes, but I nicked it off another forum where they don't mention the original source.... Seems pretty comprehensive to me though _________________

u may have done this now since it was half a yr ago lol but i found a very lot of parts fit swb from the lwb 8v 16v the 1 and only vit in a scrap yard by me is a lwb and i have taken a lot from it since i used imy swb for off roadin |
