Hi guys i'm new to this forum, but i need your help.
i've just bought a 1990 sj413 and while i was trying to repair the indicators today i heard a crack like a fuse blowing, and then all the ignition lights went off and now it will only turn over not fire. i checked all the fuses and they are fine. i have been told that it is the ignition module. what does this look like and where is it located? cheers guys Crying or Very sad  Crying or Very sad

Hi

Ignition module ?

There is the fuse box and maybe a light module above it which can be disconected if it fails, other than that its new on me. Check the fusable link from the battery look for a (white most likley) wire straight from the battery +ve into the loom connected with spade connectors. If its gone just shorten it if you have enough spare. Just keep an eye out for anything that may have caused it to blow. I have had them go for no apparent reason, fix it and been fine after  Wink

Hope that helps

Rich
