Has anyone got any ideas where I can get a set of leaf springs re-tempered for my SJ.
Got a spare set and they're as flat as my originals.

I live in doset so anywhere in the south/southwest would help

cheers

Hi

Not sure about anybody who can re-temper your springs but did you know the fronts were designed to be flat, its when they bend the wrong way they are really dead.

How about add-a-leafs ? they will give you 1 1/2" to 2" of lift. The only thing we found was that a full set made the ride really hard and choppy as I belive they were really designed to fit on the rear of vehicles towing heavy trailers ect. and as there is no weight in the back of an SJ made it really bouncy, so the next time we settled for add-a-leafs up front where the engine weight is and a sensible set of shackles on the rear. It is a comfortable ride (for an SJ) and handles really well. I have fitted this set up to a Samarui and a SJ410 and it is a great set up.

Rich
