can anyone help me my airbag light stays on what can ido without taking it to a dealer thanks  roy jones.

my old 306 used to do that, apparently something needed resetting. i just put a bit of insulating tape over the light. Laughing

Peugeot 306? Common fault on pugs, it's the connectors under the seats, fiddle with the connectors and the light goes away, cut the connectors out and solder the wires together and the light stays away Laughing

Don't know what causes it on a vitara though, sorry Roy! Embarassed

Ha i have a 306 as well, and mine flashs and stays on constant at differnt time obviously!! It will not reset it self, either go to the garage and have it reset, OR and i dont this just remove the bulb!!
