best trick i have seen for arches is lorry trailer arches [made of metal]
two of them .. . . .each cut in half to make four arches
and chop away the rusty inner wing for extra clearance before fully welding the lorry arch in place

Chappers, the trailer mudguards on your link won't be big enough  Sad  They're for little box type trailers not an articulated truck type trailer and the biggest they do usually only covers a standard car tyre on a 13" rim maybe something like a 155/70/13, not even big enough to cover a standard Zuki wheel and tyre.

I was lucky with my lorry arches, they were on ebay and advertised for a vintage truck or artic trailer.  You might find some for a more modern truck or trailer but in most cases they're likely to be plastic nowadays.

Maybe try a search on the web for lorry or truck spares or try looking up lorry breakers.

Th big enough i brought some, mine are bigger than my dads landrover arches, i looked in big lorry ones and i only found they are made of plastic ones, obviously check the size first, i am cutting mine down the centre and welding them in.
