AFAIUI I think if you have permission from the landowner and there is no access to the public, then you're OK.
If the public have access e.g a right of way across a field (public footpath, Byway etc), even if the land is privately owned and you have permission to be there, you could still be prosecuted for dangerous driving etc, the only way round it then is to be part of a recognised Motor Sports Association club and do your driving as part of an event but you'll have to abide by MSA rules for that  Wink
